Passive OSINT V.S. Pedophiles (Innocent Lives Foundation)

In a world of online social media, the threat of potential danger is real. Even more so for the children that browse it with an unaware state of mind that a predator could be lurking anywhere. It's not right that kids or anyone for that matter should have to worry about such a thing, but unfortunately we do. In order for us to better protect ourselves and the ones we love we must adapt a security state of mind and also a teach awareness of online safety. That is what we can do as leaders of a society and as parents. But what is something that is being done about the actual problem? The problem and fact that predators are using social media as a tool and means of committing inappropriate interaction with young children.

Innocent Lives Foundation is dedicated to using the powers of Open Source Intelligence to stopping and exposing online pedophiles from preying on young users. ILF works directly with law enforcement and remains completely on the ethical side of information gathering when it comes to finding out everything they can about a predator. After they have the appropriate amount of information they need to file a confident report the foundation is able to organize all of the data and present it to the police. ILF does NOT interact with online predators. Once again, they are solely passive because any contact whatsoever with a suspected predator could lead to interference with the case and cause for a possibility of dismissal of the whole report in trial. Everything that the Innocent Lives Foundation does is within the boundaries of the law and completely legal, documented, organized and legitimate.

The team at the Innocent Lives Foundation that is in charge of the hunting down predators operation is known as the "PIT" (Predator Identification Team). They are a team with skills of OSINT gathering and knowledge of the dark web but, not just anybody can join the PIT. Innocent Lives Foundation is currently an invite only organization. The process of being interviewed is thorough and candidates are carefully picked and vetted. However, you are able to volunteer and send in an application with your resume for them to review for future reference. A cyber-security and infosec background may improve your chances with becoming a team member at ILF but streamers, writers and creators are also encouraged to volunteer for the support and reach.

Nonetheless, if you have a passion for being a part of something that aims towards making the world a better place, then you have a shot in joining the Innocent Lives Foundation. Look into the movement and see where you could best fit in.
